Citroen has revealed the first details of its new C3 which will arrive in UK showrooms early next year.

The new car features what Citroen calls a Zenith panoramic windscreen which flows up and over the front passengers.

From launch, an HDi 90 powered version will be available emitting 99g/km CO2 – the first full production Citroën to emit less than 100g/km.

Citroen said new engines will arrive in 2011 which will incorporate Stop & Start technology which will see emissions lowered to 90g/km of CO2. These new diesels will be followed by petrol engines that put out less than 100g/km of CO2.

Confirmed standard equipment includes USB, iPod and Bluetooth connectivity as well as offering Citroen’s “MyWay” satellite navigation and hi-fi system.
