Jaguar considers summer shutdown

Jaguar Land Rover is considering an extended shut down of its three UK plants over the summer, reports the Sunday Times.

The newspaper reports that the shutdown would be accompanied by another round of job cuts.

However JLR's spokesman told the Sunday Times: "We have always said there may be a need in the future to take further action, but there are no plans at present."
