AM, the leading magazine for the automotive industry, has announced a series of changes to enhance its market-leading services.

Extensive research with readers highlighted significant demand for breaking news and analysis of the UK’s new car sales figures, and as a result, a brand new product in the AM portfolio will be launched in August – AMe.

This electronic title will be delivered direct to readers’ desktops within hours of the monthly car sales figures being released by the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders. It will examine the reasons behind manufacturers’ growth or decline, analyse trends in the marketplace and explore what opportunities are in store for motor retailers.

Jeremy Bennett, AM editor, said: “AMe will help dealers and manufacturers react quickly to developments in the new car market that will have an impact on the immediate and longer-term future of their business.”

The first issue of AMe will be published on August 7.

To register to receive a copy, readers should email am@bauermedia.co.uk with the words ‘AMe YES’ in the subject line.

In a second development, every Friday AM readers will learn the latest developments in used car sales, values and trends through a dedicated used market email bulletin.

News concerning the automotive industry will continue to be broken at the AM website - www.am-online.com - and summarised daily on an email alert.

Finally, the launch of AMe has also provided a unique opportunity to provide readers a more in-depth approach to news, analysis and insight in the printed AM magazine.

This will now move to a monthly format, which will also allow readers more time to review its extensive content.

The first monthly issue of the new in-depth AM printed title will be published on August 28 and existing readers will receive their printed copy as normal.
