Hyundai will unveil its new C-segment crossover ix35 at Frankfurt Motor Show, which is set to go on sale in spring 2010.

The ix35 replaces its Tucson and design features from the new model will be carried over to other new Hyundai models, said the South Korean company.

It added that “enhanced dynamics and more refined powertrain technology means ix35 delivers better fuel efficiency and lower CO2 emissions than rival SUVs and competes head on in terms of running costs with mainstream hatchbacks”.
