Kia has launched a new EcoDynamics sub-brand which will be applied for its most eco-friendly cars within each model range.

The new brand marks the start of the introduction of start/stop technology, engine-power saving alternator management system, gear-shift indicator and low rolling resistance Michelin tyres.

Future EcoDynamic models will get streamlined body parts, alternative fuel, hybrid, electric and fuel-cell powertains.

Kia said the introduction of the EcoDynamics badge would mean customers could more easily identify the most efficient models in Kia’s model range.
