Pound at five-month euro low

The pound has fallen against the euro to its lowest level since April.

The Bank of England has warned that foreign investors may not be willing to purchase UK assets which is hurting the pound’s long-term exchange rate.

The pound fell to €1.1016 and fell to $1.613 against the dollar. However, sterling is still stronger than it was at the start of the year.
