Car dealers are making it to the big screen with a new film called The Goods: Live hard, sell hard.

Described as “raunchy, risqué and politically incorrect”, the comedy film, features Don “The Goods” Ready as a used car dealer, played by Entourage actor Jeremy Piven.

Pathé Productions and Warner Bros. Pictures UK said Ready is a “boozing, stripper- loving, type-A cowboy who can’t sit still long enough to put down roots”.

Along with his colleagues Jibby Newsome, Brent Gage and Babs Merrick, “Ready can guarantee a blow-out auto sale unlike any other”.

The makers continue: “When asked to help save an ailing local car dealership from bankruptcy, Ready and his ragtag crew descend on the town of Temecula like a pack of coyotes on a basket full of burgers.

“Selling, drinking, selling and going to strip clubs is their stock and trade. And they do it well. What Don doesn't expect is to fall in love with Ivy (Jordana Spiro) the daughter of the dealership owner, and finally find his soul…cue heartfelt piano.”

The film comes out October 23.
