Proton dealers in the UK are offering free winter health checks for its customers.

Each customer that takes the free check will also be entered into a competition to win £200 worth of Marks & Spencer vouchers.

The winter check offer, which is available now until January 31, 2011 includes checking the antifreeze content and coolant level, tyre condition/tread depth/pressures, engine oil level, brake fluid level/performance, power steering fluid level, washer bottle contents/level, washer jet operation, wiper arms and blades condition/operation, and operation of all external lights. It also includes a visual check for coolant lights.

Dealers taking part include Clist and Rattle, Main Road Garages, Golden Hill Garage, Heneage Motor Company, Cromer Car Centre, James and Jenkins, Arrowebrook Motors, Clarion Cars and Penwyn Garage.
