Prestige Land Rover converter Overfinch has been bought by one of its dealers, Autobrokers.

Autobrokers completed the acquisition from Overfinch's administrators Wilson Field in Sheffield, a month after the company suffered financial difficulties

Autobrokers, an independent retailer of prestige cars, was the UK's largest Overfinch dealer for the past five years.

It now plans to make investment in key operational and product development areas, including a return to engineering enhancements and limited edition vehicles as well a new range of styling enhancements for the full range of Land Rover vehicles.

“Overfinch’s 35 year history of producing high quality enhancements, for customers across the globe, represents a strong platform to expand sales and broaden the product range.

"There were a number of bids for the business and the level of interest in acquiring the Overfinch brand is testament to its popularity and global appeal”, said Kevin Sloane, chairman of Autobrokers.
