Motors.co.uk has become one of the UK’s first online car advertising sites to offer a used car search app on the iPad.

This latest addition, which has been created to make searching for vehicles easy and convenient for iPad users, follows the company’s iPhone and Android car search apps which have been downloaded by more than 72,000 people.

Visits to motors.co.uk from mobile devices have increased  throughout 2010- and there have been more than 1.4 million searches carried out on the iPhone since its launch.

The iPad app will allows buyers to search for their ideal make and model from a database of around 150,000 used cars spanning retailers and private sellers across the UK.

Katie Wardle, head of marketing at motors.co.uk, said: “We are in a technological era where people expect to be able to do more on their mobile devices while on the move and that includes searching for their next car.”

Motors.co.uk is part of A & N Media, the consumer division of the Daily Mail and General Trust plc. Its portfolio includes Jobsite.co.uk, FindaProperty.com and Primelocation.com.
