Budget car brand Proton is inviting consumers to buy ahead of the VAT rise and benefit from its finance deposit contribution.

It offers a 'buy now, pay in 2011' scheme until the end of December with a minimun 10% deposit required.

Proton Finance's deposit contribution scheme offers up to £750 towards the Savvy, Gen-2 and Persona, £500towards the Gen-2 Ecologic and up to £1,250 towards the Satria Neo.
