Spyker has unveiled some details of how it will run Saab when its acquisition of the brand goes through in the next couple of months.

Spyker said it would build Saab to become a global car brand with performance-orientated niche products while still maintaining the Swedish brand’s environmental strategy.

Both Saab and Spyker will continue to operate as separate companies, but the parent company name will change to Saab Spyker Automobiles.

Spyker said it would be refreshing the Saab model line, keep Saab’s Trollhättan Technical Development Center open and is looking at producing a smaller model for Saab’s product portfolio.
