Mercedes-Benz Direct will be rebranded as Mercedes-Benz Retail Used Cars from March.

In addition to its new trading name, Mercedes-Benz Retail Used Cars will have new branding, aligning it to the Mercedes-Benz Retail corporate identity.

Founded in December 2000, Mercedes-Benz Direct is the only group of prestige used car centres in the UK owned by a manufacturer.

It supplies one in 10 of every pre-owned Mercedes-Benz.

Since 2000 the company has grown year-on-year, and in 2009 12,193 units were sold, an increase of 3% on 2008.

Mercedes-Benz Retail Used Cars consists of eight outlets: Balsall Common (NEC),Birmingham, Caterham (Gatwick), Hemel Hempstead, Kingston upon Thames, Manchester, Park Royal and Waltham Cross.

“We want to ensure that the excellence and reliability of the Mercedes-Benz brand is represented across all areas of our respective businesses,” said Mercedes-Benz Retail managing director Neil Williamson.
