Chevrolet is kicking off a niche marketing plan for its new Spark supermini by linking it with a music tour.

The Chevrolet Spark Unscheduled Tour starts on April 8th with a performance by critically acclaimed band The Mystery Jets at the Vinyl Factory in London.

Four more invitation-only events will follow, however their locations will be decided by public vote. Options will include Birmingham, Manchester, Liverpool, Newcastle, Brighton, Edinburgh and Bristol with venues ranging from a drained swimming pool and multi-storey car park to a Mersey ferry.

Chevrolet has teamed up with a hand-picked selection of the hottest independent, musical, creative and design talents of the moment to drive a buzz around the launch in London’s Soho.

Talent includes the likes of Jack Penate with further acts to be announced on the night, as well as cult nail salon WAH Nails hosting their very own ‘nail-car’ where guests will be treated to an exclusive free session from one of the fashion world’s leading fingertip artists.

Guests will also have the chance to graffiti a Chevrolet Spark which will be on display at the event, only it’s not real paint – it’s all digital.

With light art commissions by none other than legendary illustrator and in-house art director at ISO Kate Moross, the Chevrolet Spark Unscheduled Tour is sure to provide a host of memorable live music experiences across the UK.

Chevrolet wants prospective Spark customers to visit www.sparkunscheduled.co.uk for more information on how to bring the tour to their area and win an exclusive ticket.
