Skoda’s revised Fabia and Roomster are priced from £9,330 and £11,260 and the Czech manufacturer has included the April 1 showroom tax within the price of the new cars.Skoda Fabia facelift 2010

Both models have a redesigned radiator grille and 3D-shaped headlamps, which have been widened.

Both cars also get a new range of engines which includes four petrol and two diesel units, with power outputs ranging from 60bhp through to 105bhp.

Customers will be able to choose from the new 1.2 TSI 105bhp with Volkswagen Group’s DSG double clutch automatic transmission. The engine replaces the 1.6-litre Tiptronic and reduces carbon dioxide emissions by 56g/km to 124g/km and will do a manufacturer quoted 53.3mpg.
The four-cylinder 1.2 TSI engine is available in two power levels – 85 bhp and 105bhp. Both of these will also be available with a five-speed manual transmission.Skoda Roomster facelift 2010

All engines comply with Euro V emissions standards, with both 1.6 CR TDI units emitting less than 110g/km CO2.

Both Fabia and Roomster are available in S, SE and Scout specifications, while the Fabia line up also features Elegance trim level.

Fabia prices range from £9,330 to £14,895 and Roomster prices range from £11,260 to £15,380.
