Arnold Clark has said its Scottish Motability Roadshow will be bigger than ever with 79 vehicles from 17 manufacturers, covering 5,095 square meters.

The event will take place at the SECC, Glasgow on Thursday April 29.

It said over 98.2% of Motability customers would prefer to view a variety of cars in one place rather than travelling distances to car dealerships.

The show has a Motability advice clinic to help people find out if they are eligible and offer advice and information on joining the scheme.

Sir Arnold Clark, chairman and chief executive, said: “This unique and extremely popular event is free and is unlike any other.

"The Roadshow is not just about cars but bringing together the largest collection in Scotland of Motability vehicles and car adaptation companies.

"With a huge choice of cars on offer and Motability specialists on hand to provide expert advice, I am confident that attendees will enjoy the Motability Roadshow and feel comfortable buying a brand new car with their Motability allowance.”

Mike Betts, chief executive, Motability Operations, added:
“Anyone thinking of getting a new car or who wants to know more about Motability will find everything they need at Arnold’s Motability Roadshow, and of course they are sure to have a great day out. Look out for fantastic prices, practical information and the chance to talk directly to Motability specialists who will make getting on the road in a new car from Arnold Clark as easy as possible.”

The roadshow will see a variety of exhibitors this year including Gleneagles Conversions, Albion Mobility and Spinal Injuries Scotland to name a few.
