Kia dealer NMG has won a deal to provide company cars for home improvement blue-chip company, the Anglian Home Improvement Group.

As part of its drive to be greener, the Anglian Group has taken a fleet of 40 Kia cee’d 1.6 CRDi 2 EcoDynamics.

The cee’d EcoDynamics are fitted with ISG (Intelligent Stop and Go) technology, automatically shutting the engine down when the car is at a standstill and in neutral.

The ISG system reduces fuel consumption, increases fuel economy as well as reducing emissions by five per cent.

Grant Long, managing director at NMG Kia, said: “We know that waste gases from cars account for approximately 20% of all global CO2 emissions.

"Introducing a cee’d ISG to a business will not only add value to environmental credentials, but it will make both short-term and long-terms cost savings, something all businesses are looking for, be they large or small."
