Currie Motors and Pentagon have signed up to the Dealers Backing BEN campaign. Each group is contributing £1 from the sale proceeds of vehicles sold through the auctions to the industry charity.

Glenn Pitzer, Currie Motors' finance director, said: “Currie Motors are proud to be associated with BEN our industry charity.

"Participating in Dealers Backing BEN makes perfect sense as it is an extremely easy and efficient way to help those people who turn to BEN for support.”

James Reeve, Pentagon director, said: “Staff at Pentagon group support BEN through payroll giving and Dealers Backing BEN complements that with a very efficient way for the company to make a regular contribution.”

Nigel Williams, BEN’s head of national development said: “The continual enrolment of major retail groups to this initiative is helping us to underpin our funding with sustainable contributions from the sector. I hope other groups will consider this initiative as a very easy way to support our industry charity”

The BEN campaign was launched in the middle of June and allows participating dealers to contribute £1 to the motor industry charity from the sale proceeds of each car sold through auction.
