Motor Codes has launched a national campaign to help garages improve by gathering feedback from customers.

As part of the campaign, garages will be in with a chance of winning £250 of Snap-On Tools vouchers every month.

“Garages need to provide customers with confidence and reassurance to shake off misconceptions about poor standards.

"By gathering feedback, good and most importantly – bad, garages across the country can make improvements that will turn around the reputation of our industry,” said Chris Mason, Motor Codes director.

“Every garage that subscribes to Motor Codes has free access to a government-backed survey and can use the results to become even better.”

Each month a Motor Codes garage customer will win back the cost of their service or repair up to £500 by simply completing the online survey.

Results of the surveys are transformed into a live Garage Rating that is displayed on garage profile pages at www.motorcodes.co.uk.

Each subscribing garage can access the results of their surveys, enabling them to identify areas of strength and weakness.

To find reputable local garages, motorists make over 500,000 searches a year using the online Garage Finder tool on the Motor Codes website.

Having found nearby garages, motorists can use the independent Garage Ratings to pick the best business.

The survey was put together in line with requirements set out by the Office of Fair Trading, with the aim of helping to drive up standards across the sector.
