Vines Mini dealership in Guildford is facing a daily fight against faeces caused by gulls flocking at a nearby council waste facility.

Part of the dealership backs on to a waste transfer station where household food waste is brought in by Guildford Borough Council trucks.

Each afternoon, when the trucks arrive, flocks of gulls descend on the area, leaving their muck showered on the dealership and its surroundings.

Dealer principal Mark Hollands told local journalists it is costing the business £98 per week to get the building cleaned.
