Tyre brand Continental is offering franchised dealers a chance to win expert advice on tyre sales plus a £1,000 fund to help promote their tyre business.
For the switched-on franchised dealer, selling tyres means more revenue and an additional profit stream. Equally importantly, it can mean enhanced convenience and satisfaction for the customer.
Dealers know the customer can avoid having to spend time and effort heading elsewhere for their new tyres if the franchised workshop already servicing their car has suitable replacements in stock.
It is precisely this type of dealer that tyre manufacturer Continental is looking to reward with the title of Best Practice Tyre Retailer.
Dave Croston, its car dealer general sales manager, explains: “Franchised dealers across the UK are beginning to realise the opportunity that tyres present to their businesses and we want to encourage them to highlight their achievements to the industry by entering for this award.”
The winner will be presented with their trophy at the AM Aftersales Conference in April. Their achievement will also be highlighted in the May issue of AM magazine.
In addition, the winner will receive business support from Continental Tyre Group UK in the form of a £1,000 fund for promoting their tyre business.
