Lookers, the top five AM100 car dealer group, has given notice to close its Ford dealership in Clacton, Essex.
It has told staff and customers that the branch will close on November 18, reports local newspaper The Gazette.
Customers have been sent a letter from franchise director Ian Partridge blaming the closure on the economic climate, said the report.
