Richard Sanders Group gets smart with lead and enquiry tracking

Kettering-based Richard Sanders Group has appointed motor trade integrated marketing business Marketing Delivery to support it through its next phase of growth.

The group, which holds Renault, Nissan, Honda and Peugeot franchises in the town, has chosen to employ the full range of services, including design, promotional material, website, social media, online marketing and advertising.

It has also signed up to SmartMail, the e-CRM and e-marketing tool, and SmartCall, the call tracking and recording system.

SmartMail accesses the Richard Sanders eGood Manners database every night and triggers automated messages to existing customers and prospects.

SmartCall works alongside SmartMail and includes the facility to email and/or text the sales manager every time a call is missed or a voicemail message is left.


Nick Sanders, a director of Richard Sanders Group, explained: “We have used SmartMail to introduce a follow up process for sales leads where the visitor doesn't commit to a purchase on the day. We’re already seeing sales from this process and are getting invaluable feedback.


“SmartMail is now the ‘hub’ from which we communicate with all our customers and prospects using a variety of media including email, SMS and direct mail. With SmartCall we can also asses the telephone response from the activities we carry out.”
