Twenty-eight Kia dealers across the UK raised £29,625 for Comic Relief through a Pimp My Part-Ex charity auction.

The auction was held at BCA Measham and included three Kia Rios and one Kia Picanto, as well as Ford Kas, Renault Meganes and an MGF among others.

Bolton Kia transformed an old Kia Picanto into a red nose emblazoned design, complete with red alloy wheel trims. Kia UK donated a nearly-new which raised £4,100.

David Hart, dealer marketing manager at Kia Motors UK, said: “I’m really proud of all the dealerships that took part in the ‘Pimp My Part-Ex’ auction.

“Red Nose Day is all about a positive change through the power of entertainment, and Kia Motors UK very much embraced this mission with its fundraising efforts.

"We were overwhelmed at the support from the auction room floor for this very worthy cause, and I’m in no doubt that all our dealers had a lot of fun in the process.”
