Mon Motors Group held the official opening of its £11m Bristol Audi dealership last week.

The event included VIP guests such as footballer Wayne Rooney and musician Jamie Cullum.

The new centre, located beside at Cribbs Causeway, off junction 17 of the M5, is three times the size of its predecessor, and staffed by a 110-strong team.

“Audi continues to go from strength to strength with the opening of Bristol Audi, a spectacular centre set in one of the prime retail locations in the country. It has taken us nearly 10 years to bring this new centre to fruition,” said Jeremy Hicks, director of Audi UK.

“It’s the latest step in an ongoing programme to open major showpiece centres across the country.

“The continued success of the Audi brand gives us the confidence to do this, with sales increasing 9.5% year on year despite the current economic situation.”

The Audi premium brand is represented through 119 UK dealerships and 35 of those are ‘partner dealerships’, owned by Audi but operated by a retail partner such as the one with the Mon Motors Group
