Derek Wilson is to head-up Network Q.

He moves to the UK from Hungary where he was Opel’s chief financial officer for South East Europe, with responsibility for markets such as Croatia, Romania, Czech Republic and Ukraine.

Prior to that, he served in several other senior commercial finance roles across GM Europe, including stints in Sweden and Switzerland.

As well as being responsible for Network Q, Wilson will oversee Vauxhall’s rental sales and company vehicle operations.

He reports to James Taylor, Vauxhall’s new fleet sales director.

Wilson succeeds Karl Howkins, who is now sales director at Opel Netherlands.

Launched in 1990, Network Q was the first national, manufacturer-backed used car programme and is the largest of its kind in the UK.
