Jaguar vows to match German brands on quality

Jaguar Land Rover is investing £5bn over the next five years to bring its quality up to par with Audi, BMW and Mercedes-Benz.

The funds are destined for product development and kitting out the premium car manufacturer's assembly plants.

The Financial Times reports that it will focus on new engine technology and advances in body design in order to make more fuel efficient and lower emitting cars.
