Autotrader.co.uk is now offering customers an insurance estimate tool to see how much their car of choice will cost them to insure.

The tool runs alongside Auto Trader’s main insurance aggregator site and can compare over 400 car insurance prices.

The Insurance Estimates tool is powered by BISL Limited, part of the BGL Group and uses quote data from Autotrader.co.uk’s own insurance comparator to provide a guide on the cost of insuring a particular car with fully comprehensive cover.

By supplying their age, gender and years of no claims discounts, a buyer is able to see an estimated insurance price on all vehicles matching their search criteria.

The buyer can also retrieve a full quote from Auto Trader’s insurance comparator by answering a short questionnaire on the specific policy they wish to take out.
