The launch of a new Mini Emergency Service app for iPhone, allows Mini owners to request roadside assistance, locate their nearest franchised dealer and monitor their assistance status at the touch of their screen.

Developed by Mondial Assistance UK, the new app has been designed specifically for the customers of motor manufacturers, with Mini being the first to take advantage of its benefits.

Mini Emergency Service has been helping owners in motoring difficulty since 2001, and is provided with all new Minis registered in the UK for the first three years from the date of new car registration.

Any Mini owner can now download the app free of charge but to take full advantage of all the available features they must have a valid Mini Emergency Service policy.

The launch of the free Mini Emergency Service app is one of many new features the carmaker has launched this year as part of “Mini Connected”, enabling iPhone users a greater level of connectivity both in and out of their car.
