Fans of Citroën’s distinctively-styled DS line will be able to pose questions to the senior design team behind the flagship car of the range – DS5 – in a unique, live video web-chat on social networking site, Facebook.

Broadcast live from the Citroën showcase, C_42, on the Champs-Elysées in Paris between 12pm and 1pm (BST) on Friday, 24 June, members of the Citroën design team will discuss their inspirations for DS5 and give some insight into the key technical features that make the car a trailblazer in style, performance and panache.

On the project team panel will be: Pierre Monferrini (project manager for DS5), Andy Cowell (Citroën design manager) and Frédéric Soubirou (designer of the Citroën DS5).

Using the ‘DS5 Live Chat’ tab on the Citroën UK Facebook page (www.facebook.com/CitroenUK), visitors will be able to post questions either before or during the live web-chat and the panel will endeavour to answer as many as possible during the allotted hour.

Linda Jackson, managing director at Citroën UK said: “We’re really proud of the DS range having already hit the 100,000 sales mark for DS3 since launch and we’re really excited about both DS4 and DS5.

"The chance to speak first-hand with the design team behind the range is a fantastic opportunity for the public and hopefully they’ll see how passionate our designers are about the vehicles we produce.”
