Porsche is terminating the contracts of its franchised dealer networks across Europe ahead of the 2013 change to Block Exemption.
Notice of termination is being issued this month, to allow Porsche to issue new franchise contracts in July 2013.
Bernhard Maier, head of marketing and sales, told Automotive News Europe the new contracts are to take account of the change in the legal conditions.
Maier said new contracts are being given to dealers, and he does not expect any upset in the retail network.
