Fiat has relaunched its Panda city car range with Euro V engines across its line-up.
Higher top speed, stronger acceleration, improved fuel consumption and lower CO2 figures are all important features of these leaner power units, which come fitted to the new line-up of Panda 1.2 Active, 1.2 MyLife, 1.2 Dynamic and the diesel 1.3 MultiJet Dynamic.
The 69bhp 1.2-litre Euro 5 engine replaces the Panda’s previous entry-level 1.1-litre petrol unit, and returns 57.6mpg (combined cycle) and has a CO2 figure of 113g/km.
The 1.3-litre MultiJet diesel delivers a combined cycle fuel consumption figure of 67.3mpg, and 109g/km CO2 emissions.
Elena Bernardelli, marketing director, Fiat Group Automobiles UK and Ireland, said: "The addition of the Euro 5 engine to the line-up makes the Panda an even more tempting choice for drivers looking to save on fuel costs and keep CO2 figures as low as possible."
