Renault's first electric car will be priced from £17,850 after the Government's £5,000 subsidy when it goes on sale next year.
The five-seat, four-door Fluence is eligible for the £5,000 government grant for electric cars, while its battery will be leased from £75 a month (for 6,000 miles a year over three years).
Additional mileage and contract length details will be available closer to UK launch.
The initial launch version of Fluence ZE, Prime Time, comes with 16-inch alloy wheels, climate control, cruise control, ecoMeter and Carminat TomTom Live smart satellite navigation, together with charging sockets on both front wings.
The Fluence's electric motor produces 95bhp and 167lb-ft of torque, and has a maximum range between recharges of 115 miles.
