Ford has revealed its Fiesta ST concept at the Frankfurt Motor Show today which hints at what the production model will look like when it goes on sale before September next year.

Like Ford’s World Rally Championship contender, the Fiesta RS WRC, the Fiesta ST will come with a 1.6-litre turbocharged Ford EcoBoost petrol engine to deliver 178bhp with a 0-62mph time of less than seven seconds and a top speed of 137mph.

Ford is also aiming to have the Fiesta ST’s emissions lower than 140g/km of CO2.

The Fiesta ST concept is fitted with a rear diffuser design, twin exit exhaust, lowered stance, widened wheel arches with 17-inch alloy wheels and full ST body kit.
