Renault’s 2012 Twingo will be priced from £10,350 when it goes on sale in February.

In the UK, the new Twingo is powered by the 1.2 16V 75 engine, boasting 55.4 with CO2 emissions of 119g/km resulting in nil road fund licence for the first year (£30 from year two).

The new model will be launched with a Renault 4+ retail programme worth £900 which will also launch on February 1.

The package offers all retail customers a comprehensive four-year/100,000 mile warranty, free routine servicing for four years/48,000 miles, four years roadside cover and up to four years finance (lease or PCP, subject to status).

Cruise control and a speed limiter will be included as a standard feature. Customisation will be a key feature Renault will be pushing with customers and the Twingo can be specified with five roof decals and different colour door mirrors.

Optional extras will include climate control, electric panoramic sunroof (with an electrically operated fabric version available from April), two option packs and exterior customisation accessories like a Renaultsport rear spoiler, and a series of decals.

The new Twingo is on sale in the UK now. A new microsite to demonstrate the customisation programme will be available via www.renault.co.uk from February and will be divided into four sections: stickers, door mirror housings, spoilers, alloy wheels.
