Letchworth Autoways is the UK’s first dealer to showcase Renault's new ‘R Store’ identity, leading the way for the brand’s national rollout.
The refreshed 1.5 acre site on Icknield Way represents a near £500,000 investment by the retailer and includes semi-open offices, relaxed discussion areas and bespoke handover spaces, while also bringing a greater visual emphasis to the cars on display.
The facility includes a six-vehicle Renault showroom, alongside a four-vehicle Dacia display area, with outside space offering room for up to 100 Renault Group Renew-approved used cars.
Full aftersales support is provided by an 11-bay workshop, featuring dedicated ramps for LCVs, while on-site 24/7 electric vehicle charging is open to the public – regardless of brand.
For Dacia, the refreshed side of the showroom features the latest brand identity with a strong focus on sustainability.
Many showroom fittings are crafted from recycled materials, reflecting the brand’s commitment to value and responsibility.
Taking centre stage is the all-new Bigster – Dacia’s first C-segment SUV – fresh from its UK debut.
The opening has already created several new jobs, expanding the 30-strong team retained from the former franchise at the location.
Senior Renault and Dacia UK executives attended the official launch, including Renault UK managing director Adam Wood and Dacia brand director Luke Broad.
Wood said: “Letchworth Autoway’s investment at such a pivotal moment for Renault speaks volumes about the strength and momentum of our brand.
"Seeing the new ‘R Store’ identity brought to life for the first time in their impressive new facility is a proud moment.”
Paul Callis, managing director of the new dealership, added: “We are incredibly excited to be appointed to represent both Renault and Dacia in the home counties.
"With such award-winning and value-driven product line-ups, we’re confident that both brands will thrive in this part of Hertfordshire.”
Broad concluded: “This facility is a real benchmark for Dacia in the UK – it showcases our evolving identity and growing customer appeal.
"With new models like Bigster coming through, it’s the perfect time to expand our reach and bring Dacia to even more drivers.”
