FGA Capital, in-house finance company for Fiat Group car brands and Jaguar/Land Rover, has opened its first retail service centre, near its headquarters in Slough.

The firm worked with global software provider White Clarke Group to update dealer systems and processes.

The operation was previously run on behalf of FGA Capital, initially by GE Money and then by Santander Consumer Finance.

FGA Capital, a joint venture between Fiat and French bank Crédit Agricole, says all its new retail business is now transacted internally.

Simon Young is responsible for new business, dealer services and customer services.

He has worked for FGA Capital since it was founded in 1997.

Retail underwriting and collections are the responsibility of credit risk director Jon Tilney.
