Arnold Clark has opened its new £1 million showroom for Skoda and Volvo in Inverness.

The glass and steel structure sits on a 1.1 acre site at the head of the Inverness Motor Mile on Longman Road.

The new building brings together Arnold Clark’s Skoda and Volvo Highland franchises and will be run by general manager Willie MacKenzie with a staff of around 30 sales, administration and valeters.

The motor group’s former Skoda dealership at the Carse Industrial Estate in Inverness is being turned into a dedicated car repair facility for the group while the former Volvo showroom on Harbour Road is set for a new life as an Arnold Clark Hyundai franchise.

The site can accommodate 60 used cars with showroom space for nine new Skoda models and eight new Volvos.
