VW reshuffle means new CEO for Bentley Motors

Bentley Motors has appointed Dr Wolfgang Schreiber as its new chairman and chief executive.

Dr Schreiber joins Bentley on September 1 from his current role as CEO at Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles.

He will succeed Wolfgang Dürheimer who, as part of an extensive structural and management realignment within the Volkswagen Group, moves to become the member of the board of management for technical development at Audi AG.

Dr Schreiber, an engineering graduate, joined the Volkswagen Group in 1984, since when he has held roles including head of transmission and drivetrain development at Volkswagen, technical director and then managing director of Bugatti Engineering, before in 2006 becoming the member of the board of management of Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles responsible for development.
