Jaguar appoints new marketing director

Land Rover has appointed Ken Forbes to the new position of marketing director for Jaguar Cars UK. He will be at his new desk from this morning (Monday 11 June).

Having previously worked for Ford, Citroen and Emap automotive, Forbes joins Jaguar Land Rover from his own consultancy business, where his clients included Porsche and Nationwide.

He will now take responsibility for ‘all marketing communication and product matters’ for Jaguar in the UK.

Commenting on his appointment, Ken Forbes said: “I am really looking forward to joining the Jaguar brand. It is a tremendous opportunity to be part of a vibrant team and a company with a very exciting future.”

Jeremy Hicks, managing director of Jaguar Land Rover UK, added: “Ken is a fantastic addition to the team – his background both in automotive management and in publishing will be a great benefit to Jaguar Cars.

“We have an exciting year ahead as the XF Sportbrake and the F-Type come to market - Ken will play a vital role in these plans.”
