BMW has partnered with Good Energy Ltd in the UK to provide customers of its i3 and i8 cars with renewably sourced electricity to charge their cars at home.
Good Energy sources all its electricity from certified renewables across Britain.
The partnership helps to fulfil BMW’s objective to help displace CO2 emissions from ‘power plants to tailpipe’.
BMW will be offering specially developed and designed home charging units for UK customers and will be working to further develop green electricity tariffs for electric vehicles.
