Citroën opens new DS World in heart of Paris

Citroën has unveiled an ‘ultra-limited edition’ DS3 to celebrate the opening of its new flagship store, DS World Paris.

Located in the heart of the Parisian Golden Triangle on Rue François, just a stone’s throw from the Champs-Elysées, DS World Paris is also an event and exhibition venue.

Following on from the opening of DS World Shanghai in March, it showcases the DS line’s heritage, which dates back to 1955, including - for the opening - a 1956 Citroën DS19.

Julien Faux, director of DS World Paris, commented: “DS World Paris focuses on the very essence of DS, a distinctive take on luxury à la française.

“In our approach to personalisation, we want DS World Paris to be on the cutting edge of the avant-garde, in tune with creative communities and breakthrough artistic experiences.”

Throughout 2014 DS World Paris will host a range of artistic and cultural events, ranging from fashion and gastronomy to art and design.

OK. So we are all agreed that PSA in general, is in very poor health. How then can they afford to rent space in the centre of Paris to display cars??? And if they own the building, why has it not been liquidated before now?? The whole thing smacks of GM executives arriving in private jets!!!!!
