Hyundai has appointed a new dealer for Peterborough.

The franchise has been awarded to Smiths Motor Group after its previous franchisee, Cooks, was acquired by Robinson Motor Company in December 2012.

The Hyundai dealership will slot alongside Smiths' Renault and Dacia dealership, and Vauxhall authorised repair operation.

Smiths also holds the Vauxhall franchise for Ilkeston and a Nissan franchise in Peterborough.
