Fiat has enhanced its Punto range with the addition of a new Sporting trim level and specification upgrades across the line-up.

Available in three or five door, with a choice of five Euro 5 engines, Punto now comes in four main trims: Pop, Easy, GBT and Sporting.

The new design is intended to build on the success of the GBT and appeal to a younger audience.

Sporting models have tinted privacy glass, a chrome tailpipe and 16-inch black Sportline alloys.

The entry-level Pop 1.2 three-door has an OTR price of £9,950 while the Sporting 1.4 MultiAir 16v five-door is the new range topper at £13,955.

Elena Bernardelli, marketing director for Fiat UK, commented: “Punto has always been a popular choice in the supermini segment.

“This is set to continue as the revised Punto range offers customers a stylish, safe, fun-to-drive package with enhanced levels of specification, wider choice and outstanding value-for-money.”
