Wessex Garages is to open a third dealership in Bristol, costing £5 million, in 2015.

The Nissan centre is purpose built and will be at Cribbs Causeway.

Keith Brock, managing director of Wessex Garages, said: ““It is a massive investment and the whole project will cost in the region of £5million. With the current economic climate and many businesses being forced to close we are definitely bucking the trend.

“Wessex Garages is firmly rooted in Bristol’s business community and this next stage in our development will enable us to have a much greater impact on the local economy with the creation of new jobs and money being put back into the local community.

“The new Nissan dealership will be on Hayes Way at Cribbs Causeway, an area that is developing and it looks set to be an excellent retail location for us.”

The dealership will span 18,202 square feet internally and create 25 new jobs.

Brock said: “We are really passionate about Bristol and at a time when jobs are scarce and many residents are unemployed, our new dealership will help to create some fantastic employment opportunities for people in the area.

“We will be looking for some of the best people from the motor industry to join us and there will be a variety of positions available."
