BCA has recruited Daniel Burgess from HPI to be commercial director for its UK operations.
Burgess will assume the role on October 1, joining from HPI where he held the position of managing director.
His previous experience includes senior positions held with Alliance Global Assistance, Nissan and Vauxhall as well as roles in the retail automotive industry.
Burgess will be responsible for BCA’s sales operations and remarketing services business as the company gears to meet future growth aspirations in terms of vehicle volumes and automotive service provision.
BCA’s managing director Spencer Lock said: “We are delighted to welcome Daniel on board at a time when BCA is delivering a wealth of initiatives in terms of services, products and online capability to meet the needs of our customers.
"His extensive motor industry experience will be invaluable as BCA continues to innovate and develop to meet the new opportunities presented by the changing shape of the remarketing and automotive sectors."
As editor, Tim is responsible for the media content, planning and production of AM's multiple channels (AM print and digital magazines, website, social media and contributing to our events planning). He interviews and writes about as many franchised dealer groups and UK divisions of motor manufacturers as possible, to explore the issues facing UK motor retail and understand what solutions dealers and suppliers are using to overcome these.
