Winchester Motor Group has restructured its senior sales team with a new group head of sales and two sales managers.
Nick White has been promoted to oversee the group’s new, used and fleet departments for Winchester’s Skoda, Norton Motorbikes and Used Car Centre brands.
The newly created role “reinforces the company’s commitment to consistency, best practice and performance across all its sales operations”.
Mark Mills-Goodlet, Winchester managing director, said: “Nick brings a wealth of experience and leadership to the role and will work closely with departmental and site managers to streamline processes and elevate commercial performance across the whole group.
“Nick has proven himself to be an outstanding leader and his elevation to group head of sales is a natural step forward for the business.
“His insight and commitment to excellence will be invaluable as we create greater alignment across our sales teams. I'm confident he will make a big impact in this role.”
Charles Grundy and Lee Washington will report to White as new sales managers.
Washington has also progressed in the group’s business structure from sales executive over 10 years ago, while Grundy brings over 30 years experience from elsewhere in the motor industry.
The restructure also reaffirms the role of Tom Preece, who continues as group head of aftersales, which also incorporates the Rent-A-Car Division.
Mills-Goodlet added: “Our goal is to provide consistent, strategic support across all sites and this leadership structure does just that.
“Both Nick and Tom have progressed from sales exec and apprentice respectively and now they are working side-by-side with a stronger team and the same ethos to ensure our customers benefit from a seamless, high-quality experience at every touchpoint.”
