Franchised motor retailer The Blade Group has signed up its second bodyshop to the Fix Auto franchise.
The Blade Accident Repair Centre at Gloucester has rebranded as Fix Auto Gloucester after the completion of extensive renovation and remodelling works which were designed to increase workflow and productivity and included the creation of a dedicated five-bay system and the re-positioning of two spraybooths.
The Blade Group already has one Fix Auto bodyshop in Swindon.
While the building work has been completed on the 11,000 sq ft building, the operation has maintained its rate of repairing up to 80 vehicles a month.
Headed by Mike Cole, group bodyshop manager for The Blade Group, said: “After 12 successful months of operating Fix Auto Swindon North we are well experienced in the benefits of being part of Fix Auto UK.
"We believed that by bringing our Gloucester operation onto the network, we would further cement Fix Auto’s position as the leading vehicle repairer in the South West.”
