The fleet division of independently owned Bradford-based motor group JCT600 has seen vehicle volumes grow by 28% year-on-year with a total of 11,200 vehicles, worth around £200 million, supplied in the last 12 months.

During 2013, JCT600’s volume and prestige fleet operations secured a number of new contracts including a major deal with a daily rental company and the successful completion of tenders from two of the top 50 contract hire and leasing companies.

“The growth of the division is part of an ambitious five year strategy which includes establishing ourselves as the fleet dealer of choice locally, regionally and, long-term, nationally,” said Neill Richards, JCT600 fleet sales director.

“We have already made tremendous progress and are well on our way to reaching our target of delivering 20,000 vehicles by 2018.

“The plan is to consolidate the successes of 2013 in this quarter, ensuring that our award winning service levels are maintained with new business as well as with existing customers, and then to build on our business development success throughout the rest of the year.

"We are confident fleet sales volumes will hit 13,000 in 2014 as a result of the new business from the former Gilders’ dealerships that have joined JCT600 plus the additional contracts we have secured.”

JCT600’s fleet division comprises prestige fleet operations representing BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Volkswagen and Audi; and volume fleet division consisting of Vauxhall, Kia, Mazda, Peugeot and Seat.

JCT600 has dealerships in Yorkshire, Derbyshire, Lincolnshire and the North East and sells 19 brands such as Aston Martin, Audi, Bentley, BMW/Mini, Ferrari, Maserati, Mercedes-Benz, Porsche, Vauxhall and Volkswagen. The group employs 1,800 people.
