A test drive at a Staffordshire dealership has turned out costly for the business as the prospective buyer has not returned the car.

On Monday a customer at Michael Kiernan Cars in Ansley, near Tamworth, was allowed to test drive a Peugeot 307, registration KU03 AEX.

After the customer failed to return within the agreed 30 minute period, the dealership reported the car's theft to police.

Police are searching for a male, aged around 28, with slim build and short hair.
